life

We understand that life can be hectic and that most people don’t want to spend hours organising their home after a long day at work.

This is where we’re here to help.

There are small tricks that you can implement into your day, every day, to ensure that keeping your home sorted doesn’t become a huge, scary task. In fact, if you put these tips to action we’re certain your life will be easier overall.

So, what are they?

1. Keep spare storage containers handy

In order to stay organised you need to have the right tools. It can be a pain having to go to the shops every time you need a storage container – and more often than not you can’t predict when this is going to happen.

For this reason, we recommend keeping a few spare storage containers handy. You’ll thank us the next time your kids are making a school project and need somewhere to store all their bits and pieces!

2. Hang a cleaning cloth in your bathroom

Make it easy to clean up any bathroom spills or messes by hanging a cleaning cloth in your bathroom. We like to hang ours from a hook inside our bathroom cabinet door. This way it’s out of sight but still within arm’s reach of the basin.

3. Keep spare bin bags in the bottom of the bin

How often do you take the rubbish out and forget to put a new bag in the bin? Stop this from happening by keeping spare bin bags in the bottom of your rubbish bin.

4. Do a five minute clean each night

Get into the habit of doing a quick five minute clean of the main living areas of your home each night. Take any plates and cups to the kitchen, dispose of any rubbish and recycle old newspapers and magazines. You’ll be surprised how much time you’ll save in the long run by implementing this five minute clean.

5. Hang a shopping list in your pantry

There is nothing worse than getting to the grocery store and realising you can’t remember what you need. Hang a shopping list in your pantry and write each item onto the list as you finish it. Then simply grab the list before heading to the supermarket!
