Use any of the following of my top three tips to hygienically clean a wooden chopping board;
STEP 1: Rub the entire board with a lemon and scrub lightly with a handful of rock salt.
STEP 2: Wipe off excess with a soft damp cloth
STEP 3: Vinegar is great for removing odours – simply pour over the board and dry excess with a paper towel
STEP 4: Wipe thoroughly with a soft sponge and hot soapy water (optional add a little bleach to your water, but ensure you rinse thoroughly)
Result: Hygienically clean and ready to use
