Step 1: Soak a few sheets of paper towel in white vinegar.
Step 2: Pour some baking soda into a small plastic bowl.
Step 3: Dab the iron base with a mixture of the two and rub in a circular motion – make sure the iron is turned off and cool.
(You may want to use some cotton buds to clean thoroughly inside the steam holes.)
Step 4: When using the iron next, allow it to warm up and carefully wipe of any excess residue within the steam holes
prior to ironing your clothes.
Be sure to only use the iron once it stops releasing any trapped dirt to avoid ruining your clothes.
Result: You will have a brand new revitalised iron!
